"Save Our Water - the smart way'

This is for an advertising campaign I have to do for my Graphic Design class. The girl is only the illustration element - there'll be other graphic elements and text too.

It's about conserving water (she is trying to catch the water in her umbrella). I'm going to draw a handful of silly ways to save water and then provide the 'smart' alternatives. So, for example, the alternative for this one would be "install a rain water tank in your home"...or something like that. I don't know. Really it's all just an excuse to draw pretty, absurd pictures. :D

Oh, and please please pleaaaaase give me ideas! I have to do a lot of these illustrations and I'm stuck for ideas.

for conserving water? hmm... shampooing hair in the sink vs. short showers?? sorry i have no idea...

oh sorry i thought of something just as i sent that... i read a foxtrot comic one time where the mother gave Paige a soda when their water was out and she was like "how am i supposed to shower with that?"

maybe a soda shower or bathing/something? ^^;

Neat-o concept there! I've done this before (on accident) and it really isn't the best way to conserve water, no. :D

Ideas, ideas...hm. Well, I've heard people save water by using low-flow water things, like toilets and showerheads, but if you wanted to take that to an extreme it wouldn't be hard to illustrate that...:XD:
